Hi. My name is Hannah Sherwood, and I am a User Experience Designer. I love setting up problem spaces and designing solutions that are useful, usable, and delightful.
I recently graduated with my MS in Information Management from the University of Washington. In school, I studied and practiced both quantitative and qualitative design techniques, including surveys, interviews, contextual inquiry, personas, scenarios, prototyping, and usability testing. I also studied methods for organizing information resources, such as taxonomies and metadata, as well as methods for creating information structures, such as XML.
For my master's thesis, I worked with the Group Health Research Institute to design an interactive health care visualization tool. I have also completed internships with Microsoft Research and Costco's IT department.
